Howdy,
we just seem to be through the silly season and here we are almost to the Easter Weekend. Is anyone game to tackle a camp area during this time?
What has everyone got planned for this period of Mayhem!
I've made a few calls but most places are already booked. It looks like I'll be back to the old faithfull haunts and chase a cod or two.

All the best

Will be back in the Sunshine State then.  No doubt I'll be in the camper somewhere.

Skip,
every easter we camp at a place called Pigs Point near Tallangatta, Vic. Its on the mitta river has long drop toilets (which are not a favorite of the missus) all mowed and the rangers come around and empty bins and clean the toilets during easter. A few regulars come back each year and we get together for a few drinks (lots) and even the kids have a ball riding there pushies and kicking the footy. Tallangatta is only 10 mins down the road for supplies and Corryong or Dartmouth are only half an hour drive in either direction if you feel like doing the tourist thing.
Shane.

Sounds the grouse. Hope you enjoy yourselves and get plenty of eggs. I have since found out that Carlo Point near Rainbow Beach has plenty of room left. This campground is very large (Iwas told over 20 acres)and is a bush like setting on the water. It is very close to a very good multi laned boatramp
here is an advert!

I have stayed here before but be warned the Sand Flies can be in plagues so if you go take plenty of skintastic or aerogard. Or if you like a brew made from Baby oil, Dettol & Citronella (good stuff but a bit greasy)Worst part is squeezing enough babies to get the oil Roll Eyes
