I picked up a Carron 18" lid the other day... top condition in side and out... does any one have a base to suit.... lying around under the house...there must be someone out there... I live in hope.
The Pod said made in Scotland...pretty rare..
Mick said he would give a kindney for something....I was thinking I may part with a jatz cracker...

Nice lid Muzz, I have a 10" lid same brand, but no 18" base.
I saw a 22" complete Carron oven the other week. This old bloke had a great collection, the base of the oven was perfect and very heavy but the lid had been repaired. I'm looking for and 18" base myself but its a metters base I'm after, along with a 22" metters lid. I'll keep my eye out for you. I know a guy who has a couple of 15 " lids as well not metters but they might fit that base you got the other day. Let me know what you would pay for them and I'll see what he wants if you like.
