Does anyone know if you can buy Shellite in bulk. I use it for my stove and lamp but the biggest container I am able to get it in is 4 litres and it works out at 4.50 a litre.

Derek you can buy Shellite in bulk from a Shell Fuel Depot (not Servo) it is sold in 20L drums and the last drum I bought was around $45 but I don't know what the fuel prices have done to it.

Derek was talking to our fuel distributors today (BP) and they sell the same product as Shellite (Shell) but it is called R55 through BP. For 20L it costs about $57.00. I think some distributors will sell it even cheaper if you take your own drum/Jerry to decant into from their bulk supply. Wink
