Hi Frank and welcome.

Do you know I reckon I am a bad cook but ............... I love to eat.   When you love to eat you tend to cook things the way your like them to taste.

I cooked a curry today.  Not only was it stacked full of Hot Madras curry powder it was also stacked with hot Tabasco sauce as well.

For most people it would take the roof of your mouth off but to me it was fantastic.

Look forward to hearing more from you.

I'd hate to be stuck on a plane with you today Grin Grin Grin

Hi Frank,
you'll get plenty of tips here mate,
Someone once asked me while I was doing dinner "Do you like to cook?" I said "no I like to eat"
the moral:- like Derek said, if you like your food, you'll soon start cooking it the way you like.

Cheers, Mick.

Welcome Frank

It's a great place to learn about cooking.
Shame about Pine Rivers.
I'm sure we will have more at other locations in SEQ and beyond.

Thanks for the great welcome, feel at home already, yes i want to learn to cook and experiment a little, first bread in the house oven then camp oven with heat beads and then try wood, I imagine that working out the right heat is the trick. so onwards and upwards we go. Derek No demo's at the caravan show this weekend. I am going to be there on friday.
Thanks all
Regards
Frank W

Nice stack of camp ovens you have there Derek Wink

It look like you have a mix of lodge and camp chef, is that your new 20" on the bottom?  it is a big one, my largest is a Lodge 16" Shocked

Best, Duncan
