But we wanna learn.
Gooday ppl, we are in the process of setting up a new caravan and intend to do a bit of bush camping we we get organised.
But in the meantime, I've bought a cast CO and have had a coupla cookouts in the backyard and in the kitchen oven. Pretty basic stuff, casseroles mainly, and was very pleased with the results.
Eeeenyway, we're taking 4 weeks of late Sept/Oct and going to Casino for the ACC meeting and then on to Millmerran for the CO Festival. Thats going to be a lot of fun me thinks.
I guess a few of you ppl will be there as well.
That's us in a nutshell, so I'll keep reading and see if I can learn something.

I rang up and booked a site at Millmerran t'other day, no powered sites left so I asked for a site along the western fence line under the shade trees, sorry, nothing left there either.
Seems there have been over 600 bookings already so if yer going book now as they're going to limit the numbers, I think he said 1200 vehicles.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Thanks for the Welcome chaps.
Millerman is going to be a whole lot of fun.
We booked about 3-4 weeks ago and the bloke told me then that we would have one of the few remaining powered sites.
Good thing to as our new van probably won't be set up for powered camping by then.
We have booked for the full week and will probably do some daytrips from the site
This will be the first long trip in the new van and we're looking forward to it.
Apparently as the event gets closer they contact us with a site number/location. When that happens, we'll let you lot know where we are and you're invited to stick ya head in and say 'Gooday"
