Just wanted to share with all of you my collection of ovens. They have become too much work for me to keep in the shape I insist on, so the time has come for me to pass them on to a younger generation of family dutch oven people who have all kinds of up and coming dutch oven young people who will learn with and love my collection. With a smile but with heavy heart I post for you all to see my collection before it departs. I did keep a couple to cook in , not old enough to give them all up!!!!

As with anything we have had for a long time and benefited by so much pleasure just by owning them, I can only imagine how you feel letting them go. Smiley

In my heart I have been well paid as I know that they will be used to teach others, was tough to do. I let them go for the price of 2 new ones ,
but I know where they are if I ever need to borrow one.

What she means by a Park Model is an RV intended to stay in one place. I used to have what what called a mobile, home or trailer for short. I haven't seen one, so I'm no expert, just a North American familiar with the term.

What wonderful memories you must have of accumulating all these pots etc Vicki and what you have cooked and shared from them.

I have just given something precious to me that I have kept for 40 years away and knowing its giving pleasure elsewhere is the best gift of all.

Wonderful for you to be able to pass them on and know they are appreciated. I am glad to think you still have some and will still enjoy COs.
