Far more practical to buy a big one Skip locally but just for the novelty (and to show off) I decided as I had (or am about to have) a little loose $ from the DVDs I made, why not spend it on something solid.

I am having my monies worth with the visions of what I might cook in it by itself and on top of the larger ones and seeing Derek's caramel sauce ^^ set my taste buds going  Grin

Derek I have another parcel coming from a red hatter net friend and I am having a fit in case it doesnt arrive, regarding payment.  She has graciously had it sent to her and is reposting it on to me.  I am then to send a cheque.  I would much rather have taken full responsiblity for it but again it was something I wanted and this is the only way for me to get it.  The shop is now out of stock of this particular item.

Maybe in the cooking section we should have a section "Small Serves" or similar for cooking for 1-2.  I know you can reduce the quantities but some dont have the confidence or worry about waist (or should that be waste).  I will have two small ones and plan to use both at the same time but probably separate.

The little ones I can find a sheltered spot for where I wouldn't be concerned about burning the house down  Cheesy.  Almost gale winds here and more expected.  They are early its usually more windy in August.

Well my new baby arrived today, its just a bit smaller than I envisaged but will be put to work just the same.  I will have to rethink my plans.

The postage was $50.45, choke, choke so I desposed of that sticker very hastly before it was seen  Cheesy.

Its very nicely made and only the smallest chip to the seasoning.

Just a question there is no hole in the top of the lid for taking it off the CO - Sparky says he could drill a hole in it!!!   Any tips on whether this should or should not be done?

Actually none of the 5 and 6 inch ovens have a ring for lifting.  You could drill a hole but that may weaken it.  Alternately lift it off with a pair of pliers or multi-grips.
