Jono

Plus transport..
I've got a quote to Brisbane for $90
That makes it an expensive CO.

Aer you going to have a crack at it?
Aart

Nope.  If it was a 20" Furphy I might.  Just be aware that when I spoke to the guy he did say that there was a lot of pitting on the lid and you could barely read the Metters name on the rim.  Roll Eyes

I did note from the photo that the name was very difficult to read.

I expect that this is going to sell for a large amount of dollars.

The last genuine 15" Furphy I remember was well over $500 and I do believe that from a collectors perspective this one is rarer.

Will have to wait and see.

May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven
half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.

Not for 600 oxford scholars mate.
How can I hide that on the Visacard.
Give me some time...I'll come up with something.

Got it, I'll buy here something for 100 on ebay and swap the values.
Tell her I spent 600 on her.

Sneaky... Aart
