Didn't that all happen in a hurry.
Still nearly 3 days to go.

Its beyond me now..

I placed a bid an hour or so ago and my bride walked in and saw it.
She was fully aware of the $90 transport costs involved and did some quick maths

I pushed the place bid button in defiance, and to assert my role as head of the house..  Smiley

After this post I am off to the ambulance station to have some minor wounds attended to.  Smiley

hope your health improves Aart, they should never be crossed. they pretend to be all cuddly and Innocent, but fire them up and look out. $520 without any flurry at the end surprised me.

I predicted $500 and still feel that was more than it's true worth, wasn't exactly mint condition.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Tough luck Big Fella,

Cant help it if some people have more dollars than sense, but thats the idea of the online auction I guess, not to get a bargain but to fleece people for as much as possible.
Better luck on that Albion Mate Grin Grin

May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven

Robbo, I made a point awhile ago, the more an item is discussed here, the higher the price is likely to be - assuming 1/2 decent condition.

If you want something, keep mum and hope everyone else does too.

I did get a bid in fellas and gals.

Just one.
Then got smashed by number 5 and 7.
It was a great experience.
My first bid on ebay.

Thanks for the jovial banter on this matter.
It was fun...but no bloody metters 18.  Cry
