I have mentioned these forks at shows and to various males and just get that infuriating blank look and shake of the head that only a male can do.  Has anyone seen them in Oz?  I first saw them in a USA site and thought what a great idea they are for kids to use and for marshmellows.  A much more secure way to toast things.

I was surfing this morning and saw this photo which explains them in action pefectly.

Haven't seen then in Oz.
Seen them on Amazon or the like in the US.
I believe you can buy them in Single, twin or four packs,

Great idea if doing frankfurters.
They won't slide off the fork.

Actually, they are much used and as common as church mice.

I googled 'hot dog forks' and look what I found.

Aart glad to find someone in here can realise that they would hold the food better.

LK thanks for the link but OZ was where I wanted to find one.

CD I know there is nothing like variety, but most would ooze and shrink and the meat tend to drop down.  This was what I felt was the advantage of an upright pointing fork.  My personal preference is for a hot and spicy thick Chorizo.

Carolyn,

Did you try googling for 'hot dog forks' in google Oz.  Or weiner toasting forks,  Or some special Oz hot dog term.  What do y'all do with bratwurst.  There must be some of German descent thereabouts.

Never seen them but intriguing for sure.  Yep they would be great with marshmallows as indicated on this photo.

Never seen them in Oz but what a fantastic idea.

Gotta get me some.  Tongue
