Here is a photo of one of my pots. It looked like this after I had seasoned it. I gather it should have all turned black?  Do I need to reseason it?

The photo below is the second pot and although it was all black it now is coming off.  I am a bit reluctant to cook straight in it, ie a curry.
HELP!!!!!!

It looks to me if you may not have cleaned it properly...so start again with high heat.

I want to use the pots at the weekend. Will be unable to reseason before then. Still ok to cook in - if I use a cake tin?

No problems Barb-go for it. Just keep a thin wipe of oil on the pot, it can't rust then. Smiley
