Yowies were seen in that area some time ago, I'll chase up the exact time and let you know.

Take notice of the nostrils and the wrinkles around it, there are no other animals in Australia with those charactaristics

The most talked about sites are the Gold Coast Hinterlands and the Blue Mountains.
They are the areas that were the hotspots but there has never been any evidence to date to com from these areas.
I am in the hotspot and its going to get hotter.
What I am showing you here are the first picture ,to be taken of a Yowie, I have other evidence to put forward yet. I may put some more on shortly

I'm being a bit of a skeptic BUT I've been traversing the bush for a couple a years and never seen anything untoward as in a striding, hairy, tall, funny looking, not talking back, furry pictured beastie.  As a keen photog I try and get things in focus or at least have a capable zoom on board.  Are "they" out there????
Maybe they are, but with the techo stuff we have now I think Google Street Map would have gotten a bit up close and personal by now.  I talk to and teach many Parks Rangers and raise this subject with them.  Mainly they scoff and agree it's folklore.

Deep down where I live?  I hope there is a Yet/Bigfoot/Sasquatch.  Will the Yowie accept the change to the National Anthem (No it's NOT "I Still Call Australia Home-o as per QANTAS) I hope I have a Yowie living on my property as they are very good at scaring Scouts on their first camp-out.  Wear a crash helmet if you decide to take on this dubious task - they throw things - poor Yowie!

Like E.T. if the Yowie were to "go home" (OK it's "phone home" but does a Yowie have a SIM card paid up???) where would that be?  Coffs Harbour?  Ayers Rock?  Local tip??  Local waterway???  Nah - the locals would have sussed him (or her) out long ago.  Bring in visions here of Farmers with pitchforks and Yowies doin' the nasty down in the lower 40 so they can keep popping up now and then.  Begs the question of how long does a female Yowie carry?  We could get bogged down in here for a long time.  We can track monkeys of ALL breeds in the rainforest and other places.  Saw it on TV tonight.  But Yowies.......haven't seen them on the Discovery Channel for eons.

We all know that secret ingredient to a great CO cook out.  This is one of those.  I admire and endorse those who subscribe to the pursuit of the unexplained such as the Yowie.  I salute and admire you.

I have other rows to hoe - that is all.  Good cooking is where it's at and if, just if, a Yowie wanted to join in the feed - most welcome - get the invitation Cool

I'll give you a quick run down on what I have acheived since I started reseearching.
1. Had 4 sightings of these animals the closest being within 30 metres.
2. Have discovered 6 beds that have been constructed by these animals.
3. I have collected foot prints casts.
4. Found a terd that was still hot and measured 40cm in length and as round as large nectarine, which at present is in Vancouver being tested for DNA.
5. Have 3 photographes of the animal.
6. Have done some call blasting in the Blue mountains and received a return call. The vocalisation I used was from an animal that was recorded in Nevada USA.
7. I have had hair analised by the leader in primate hair identification in the world and he has documented that the hairs I had sent him were from a higher primate and that they were identical to hairs collected in the USA beleived to be from Bigfoot.
Thats just a quick rundown without going into detail.
These animals are here and they are here in numbers, naturally there are skeptics out there but just wait till you do stumble across one.
have a nice day Smiley
