My little herb patch near the pool under shade cloth. What do you guys do for yours - or don't you!!!

The big containers are old sand filters as used in swimming pools cut in 1/2. Go to your local pool shop and ask for the busted ones...they will nearly always give em to you coz they do not have to pay to dump them..

...

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme and Chives and Mint and Marshmallow as well... oh and some weeds as well... getting more each week.. Next in go the Chillies.......

Grrr!!! Wink

The grand plan was to relocate most of this, fill with gardening soil and plant some more useable herbs.  We have been waiting on a report back from the refinery who offered to test the bore water.  It came back this week only to tell us that it didnt cover safe domestic use of the bore water which is set up in this garden.   Shocked in an area that was predominantly septic for many years I am not over keen to use the water for something I eat.  I think the point of the test was to cover themselves if the de sal pipes create any problems in the bore water.
