Have any of you tried the Mair Lid Lifter?   I had heard about them, but never used one, until a couple weeks ago.  I couldn't find mine, and some friends who were camping in our yard let me borrow their Mair lifter.  WOWWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!  I was so amazed at what a fabulous lifter it is, it is only two weeks later, and I have them in our store!

I was going to cook outside last night, just so I would have a chance to use it, but I ran out of time!   Sad  Gonna have to make dinner in the camp oven tonight!   Smiley

Here's what they look like:

Hi, Mick!   No, I haven't been touring -- just busy working at the store.   One of these days, I'll have time to travel again . . .

Julie,  I think Mick can make stuff PD hasn't tried yet.

Here's PD's

Again, Julie forgive.  I'll dust off the wish list.

Hi Julie

I actually wrote to Mair once about getting some of these to Australia but they didn't reply.  Now that you have them what would we be looking at for postage.

This is one made by PD and it worked wonderfully, made lifting what for me is a heavy lid much easier and controlable.  It also doubles as a Lid stand.  What more could a girl ask for?  I know I should have brushed off the ash before taking the photo but whose perfect, not me!!!

BIG THANKS PD  Cheesy
