This is one of the first things I cooked in a camp oven
And still one of my favourites I still cook this at least twice a month great for smokko on a hot day nice and chilled

I wish I'd found this sooner TBF I too cooked this at broke but in small individual pie tins but after reading your recipe I think they missed out somewhat at least we are keeping the legacy alive  Smiley " Broke zucchini slice "

Good to see mate.
We often have it for dinner at night, served warm, chips from local take away and a salad beside.
Like you wrote, great chilled for smoko next day.
