There was custard with it..came out of a carton.
Didn't want to compare mine with your custard.
I'll try custard one day when I don't have 4 other COs on the go.  Wink

As I have been asked for the recipe, here it is.

There is nothing complicated about my cooking. This comes from a packet mix. It's either Maggi or Continental recipe base.
Its called apricot chicken
curry.

One has the curry the other doesn't

1pkt of the recipe base
1 lge onion diced
2 tsp olice oil
1 x 425ml can of apricots or apricot nectar(I use the nectar)
cup of frozen peas
1 large sliced carrot
1 kilo of chicken legs or cubed chicken breast.

Brown the onions in the oil (in CO)
Place chicken in the CO
add peas and carrots

mix 1/4 cup hot water to recipe base and stir
Add apricots or nectar to the base and stir till smooth. (no lumps)
Pour over the chicken.
Add a little cuury powder to taste..Keep in mind the base already has curry in it.

Place over similar heat as you would for a stew and cook for about 60 - 75 minutes.
Make sure the chicken is cooked through.
The packet mix says to brown the chicken first.
I don't, coz I slow cook it long enough till no pink inside the chook.

Usually serve it with whole baked spuds or fluffy rice.

Aart
