I know quite a few of you are going to the M*** gathering in Queensland.

Possibly some of you also go to the Explore Oz forum, Touring Oz and Campertrailer forums.  All of these have an identification sticker/badge.  When we go to a site and take a walk around they quickly identify a possible forum user and act as an ice breaker with others.  I have had a quick play for your comments.  This could be just printed out and put in plastic and attached to your tent or made into those plastic holder badges most of us have and if not are cheap to buy.  Names could be added.  Instead of my somewhat wonky circle the number plate so many of us use could be the shape.

What do you think?

Hi Carolyn,

Another good idea-your on a roll.
I also think that when we get together a few quick PM's help before hand to sort a few things out.

Dont need one on the tents Carolyn, just follow the smoke. Grin Grin Grin
Seriously, would be a great idea I think, especially for the COGs with names on cause I am an absolute shocker with names. Cheesy

Great idea I reckon.

If I had one it would be a permanent sticker on the back of the wagon

Cheers

Carolyn
I am no good playing with graphics on computers but it has been in my mind (now's the time to get it out)  Undecided an idea for a cap/hat badge. The idea is an oval with our name in the middle eg LogFire with CICOA around the top edge and preferred name eg. Keith on the botton edge or a mix of this arrangement. A camp oven in there somewhere but that would add to cost. Can your busy little fingers come up with something along these lines?
Cheers

I wasnt thinking of embroidery such as is used on hats etc.  I think for about 4 colours it cost about $90 to set up then about $5 per name.  This of course varies everywhere.  We set one up for our Quoits Club and use it on T Shirts and Hats.

I havent been involved in car sticker type stuff.

I have made this according to my template business card size which fits into holders you get given or can buy.

I would have used your name but I dont know it  Tongue

These as simple name tags would cost next to nothing and could have the individuals tag instead of the camp ovens if wanted.

Well two of my tattooes are on my forehead and the other is also very visible.

Long story but you know me ...... one daughter has just finished first level of tattooing course, she also works as a wine taster when the kids are with their dad.  Saturday nights job took her to a new venue where the manager said he was also a tattooist and showed her some of his work  Smiley and then his mate called in and was made to take of his shirt and show his.  Funny in life how one thing leads to another  Smiley .

Unfortunately bright red is not easy to work with otherwise I would be getting a red hat somewhere discreet,  SmileySmiley I have lots of area for her to practice on  Smiley

Your very cheeky Skip, we play quoits in the sports bar and us girls try to be very careful as we bend oooops kneel down and pick up the quoits. Smiley
