Arrived home today to find a rather wet sodden note in the mail box saying ....... It's behind the barbecue.  My immediate thoughts after having some parcels dropped in the wheelie bin was, "This guy is started to appreciate cast iron".   Grin Grin Grin

Straight around the back for a look and there she was, a nice box from Cabelas that opened up to reveal a shiny new 10" Lodge camp oven to match my 10" deep Lodge.

Have taken the pic below to show the difference in depth.  I was also a bit impressed with myself as the seasoning I did on the 10" deep on the bottom was far better than the factory pre-seasoning on the new one.

The 12" deep Lodge is still on back order.

Me too Jono, even my new 18" Billmans could be just a little deeper.
Can any one explain why the "Dutch Ovens" are so shallow, to me they seem useless for anything other than bread rolls or cakes???

Mick.
