Hi to all members. My name is Ken I was born & breed in the bush at Tottenham in central NSW but now live on the NSW central coast. I have always liked to cook outdoors but mainly on BBQs and in a Webber. I did have a basic knowledge of camp oven cooking from my bush up bringing, but stumbled onto this website probably nearly 12 months ago and have been tinkering with cooking in the camp oven with heat beads since. Mainly cooking dampers, roasts & stews as I did on manny fishing trips on the banks of the Darling River over the years. Having used this I thourght it was about time I joined and shared my experiences. Not a computer whiz but learning.

Hiya Kenny, if you have been reading the forum for a while you will have gathered we are very open minded about how and what you cook and variations are always welcome.

Yarns and jokes are part of what we do when we arent collectioning cast iron or cooking, eating or drinking.

We all have to learn computerwise and each forum seems to be slightly different so just holler for help if you find you need it.

Thankyou all for the welcome to your site. As I learn to navigate myself around this site, or more truthfully my daughter teaches me, I can start to post and share some stories and camp cooking experiences with you
