Hi all, Thanks for a great informative site Derek...I know the members make it what it is but 'owners' are the mainframe of a site. Hopefully I will be able to contribute in the future.

As for myself, my wife and I try to getaway for a couple or three weeks in spring and autumn each year. Our 2 daughters have long left the nest. We camp in a camper behind a little Suzuki Vitara. We love the bush and try not to drive feeways and main roads.

Our only real pet hate is the ever more controlling NPWS. Soon we will not even to be able to have a camp oven in a NP....and that is something that will effect COCIA sooner or later.

I can't wait to try some of the recipes and hints...thanks to all that contribute.

Thanks again for a great looking site....I'm off to go exploring now!

Greetings and Salutations campinggolfer.  Might be a bit slow on here for the next short while as I think many people are off to CO (camp oven) cookouts and meet n greet events.

Have a look around and - welcome!

Thanks guys...I've already caught up with an internet contact that I had lost touch with....Klaus from Cabelas....I bought some denim bags for my 4x4 gear years ago...still going strong....at least I now know where they came from....(again)...read CRAFT into that!

Welcome, we love having a mixture of topics as well as reading and seeing what everyone gets up to.  I have to say a lot of the boys are top cooks in here but are ever patient with people with CRAFT just dont ask me what their names are LOL.   Enjoy and share what you can.
