Hey BITB - good picture of a great vehicle.  What bridge????  Grin

I have a ZJ Grand and a 1983 Cherokee Sport whilst SWMBO has a XJ Limited.

Up in the High Country in the Grant Historic area just up from Dargo.

...

Enjoy.

My mother-in-law fell down a wishing well, I was amazed.       I never knew they worked.

The bridge is a very wonky job out at Lake Jasper in the Southwest.  You know the type, where every board flicks & jabbers a tattoo of the depths below (or is it the Yowie who lives underneath having a bit of sport?) ... and you just know you don't want to linger longer than you must.  Unless you want a photo to prove how dumb it is to park on top of a Yowie!!

Crikey, this site is infecting me already!

She's a KJ Limited ...

*cheers*

Welcome Claire, you will find they are a hard lot to keep in line.  Just check out the jokes, so sexist.

Most of us have a great time in here and lots of friendships in the making, hope you find it the same.

We had to go across a wonky bridge in 4WD training and I am afraid I flunked both the driving and the directing  Cheesy.  The only time we ever had to balance on beams the MOTH was directed by a man and the one board the RTA had placed broke and the Troopy dropped into the ditch and as I jumped out the car there was a large black snake in the grass. A pull from the ditch digger and all was well.  The Troopy has gone to a better home.

Love it Carolyn!!!  Chalk up one for survival.

Want to hear my black snake story?  Not as funny as yours but in brief:

SCENE:  Out along the Macquarie River, near the old town of Hill End, down by the meandering waters.

TIME:  Black of night.  Circa 1980

ACTIVITY:  Pulling late to a picturesque & familiar camp spot, erecting tent and getting a few lungsful of a noxious odour.  Set up bedding, opened storm flaps and nearly gagged.  Did the only thing we could do ... cracked a tinny, picked up a torch each and went to investigate.  Found nothing on the ground anywhere.

TIME:  Sparrows

ACTIVITY:  Getting out of bed from a nauseous & sleepless night; walking outside to look again for offending stench so it can be buried or we pack up & move.  Walk around back of tent ...

OUTCOME:  Nailed to the tree we'd set up under, right outside window ... yep, a black snake!  It'd been there a while Wink

MESSAGE:  Farmers warn travellers it's black snake season & they are found HERE.   Shocked

We moved.
