Today was lousy weather Kemo Sabe's so it was into the freezer to find a lonely tray of steak, muster up some veggies in the crisper, a splash of wine , some herbs  and some stock and there we have another of my favourit meals-- stew.

...
Fry of the veggies & Garlic Smiley

...
Add some meat fried in seasoned flour mixed with pkt french onion soup

...
Top up with some wine and stock with some mixed herbs.

...
Cook 'er up nice & slow for 2 hours-throw in a few handfulls of peas near the end of cooking & thicken with the gravox/flour brew.

...
Serve up with some rice and chow down
God I love these feeds & in Iron it's even better. See the simple things in life often give you the most pleasure. The Penfolds didn't hurt either Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

All the best

Looks good but you should have made some bread rolls to soak up the gravy. Lucky we now have heat beads & don't have to worry about wet wood & trying to keep a fire going in the rain. I have been using the shed as a kitchen lately.

I think we would all agree Skip and it looks good too.  Add a bit more stock or water and you can feed double the number no trouble at all.
