cost about $13 from bunnings to set up our shower .

a 5 litre pressure sprayer fitted with a garden rose.

on mist setting water usage is 1 litre/minute.

simply boil the billy and make the water whatever temp that you require.

is also great for putting out the campfire late at night.

Seen that before Rick..
Never used it though.
Doesn't weigh much either.
5 litres is enough if you don't have to wash your hair.

Twenty five years ago, I bought a canvas shower bag equipped with a moderate to large  sized adjustable brass shower rose. It holds around 15 - 20 litres of water which is more than enough to shower both myself and the missus. Over the years, it has proved itself to be a robust, compact and reliable shower unit and I've never felt the need to replace it.

Like you SJ I have an old well used canvas bucket with brass rose, one of boiling water to two of cold is about right, hang it off the back of the van or tree, ahhh, bliss.

No Glind or Twine under the bonnet set-ups at over $400, I'm a big believer in the KISS principle.

Ain't that the truth TBF.... if it was left up to us blokes things would be very different.
However there's nothing nicer than a hot shower after a hard day in the bush.
Shower together and save water.
