Nah! I don't reckon that I am queer. But I have met a few blokes from this forum that could fit that description  Grin Grin

I have always only cooked over the campfire on camps, but since getting involved with this forum I seem to share the

cooking at home now. Be that out the back with the camp ovens/ jaffles or inside with the pressure cooker or oven

Curtis Stone, strange, hot wife…. Roll Eyes not queer..
Gordon Ramsay, very strange but not queer…

I cook most meals now days, Nellie is a great cook, but her job gets her home about 2 hrs later than me, so being the perfect bloke  Tongue, i cook most meals..

I think I have always helped with the cooking.
Now days Bonnie works 4 days a week and I am at home so it is easier for me to get dinner on as Bonnie gets home at 6pm.
Bonnie is a better cook than me though, I just make things I like. Smiley

It is interesting actually that the majority of TV Celebrity Chefs are guys.

Whether they be queer or not is possibly a different discussion.

But in saying that my favourite is still Nigella Smiley  Apart from the charisma of the show she comes up with some amazing cooking concepts.  Second to her is Jamie Oliver.  He to has an amazing array of dishes suitable for camp ovens

Fast Ed on Better Homes and Garden often has recipes which are easily used in camp ovens as well.
I never watch the show I just look at them on the internet.

My preferred definitions of queer:
1. strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; singular:
[a queer notion of justice].

2. of a questionable nature or character; suspicious; shady:
[Something queer about the language of the prospectus kept investors away].

3. not feeling physically right or well; giddy, faint, or qualmish: to feel queer.

4. mentally unbalanced or deranged.

Most of the world's top Chefs are male... even the queer ones like Gordon Ramsay   Wink

I think a lot of men enjoy cooking, whether it be in camp ovens or not, but don't have the time due to working full time in other professions.  I have lost count of the number of times I have looked in the cupboard and lamented 'there's nothing here to make a meal from' and then Chief magically produced a fantastic meal out of that some nothingness!   Huh

I think it is fantastic that you fellas have a crack at cooking in any way, shape, or form. Either at home or when out camping.  Even just one night a week is great cos it means your lady gets to put her feet up  Smiley

Yes LG, those 4 descriptions fit me to a tee  Cheesy Angry

It's all in a bit of fun Smiley

Tonight, I watched smoothzsilk's challenge entry and thought, bloody hell, that looks easy.

Straight away, my manly instinct was to make similar, but better  Smiley

( and  I needed to get some value out of those still burning heat beads  Grin)
