Boil peas until soft, boil potatoes until firm to soft and cut bacon in strips and fry until crisp.

Bacon is bliss ... peas & potatoes, classic!  The bacon fat kills it for me Willy but takes me sideways ... to the ubiquitous pork crackling!  How could I think bad thoughts about drizzling bacon fat over my food when I can make a mean mess of pork crackling?   Smiley

Enjoy the things you love Willy ... thanks for sharing!  Smiley Smiley

Cheers, pork crackling is great, when i do it i lightly score it with a sharp knife and rub a bit of salt all over it and into the slits. If you don't like the idea of the bacon fat over it put a knob of butter over it instead or some creme fresh ''however it's spelt'' with a bit of garlic in it over it in stead..Willy
