Welcome, its not all fellas here but somehow they seem to frighten off some of the females who join but a couple of old chooks dont give up Cheesy

Most of us enjoy something new to think about regarding cooking in our COs. I think what we all mostly enjoy is the friendships that go with the campfires and cooking regardless of whats cooked.

G’day Wazza , Oz Jeeper, Sundryed , Carolyn , Jono, Stew, TBF, Rebel and Robbo thanks for the welcome to this great site.
Sundryed Im in the Lismore area. As for a site to hold a National COG next year I presume you are looking for a place that allows Open fires??. Sadly it seems to be getting harder and harder to find places that allow open fires especially in the hotter months.
Robbo im pretty sure I couldn’t make it to a COG in January as that months pretty well booked out for me already.
A bit about me.
The User name was was my attempt at something Australian for a Aussie site with a lot of great Aussie CO’s . I did grow up in Saltbush country…..Far Western NSW. Have lived on the coast now for over 20 years. I currently have 4 camp ovens 2 x Aussie Furphy 15’s an Albion 10 inch and a very old 12 inch of unknown origin, Hopefully someone here can identify it for me when I get around to posting a photo of it
I have owned one of the furphy’s for 20 years but have only started cooking in them seriously for about the last 2 years.. I also collect old Australian fishing reels and Vintage Arnotts tins so I guess you could say I have more than one disease.
To make ends meet I buy and sell second hand goods.
