On the weekend I picked up a 14 inch base which I think is a metters, not sure it looks the same has my 12 inch meters, if anyone has got a 14 inch lid they would be willing to sell me that would be great

Looked thru yer photo gallery Nelson, cupla nice pots there and I'm not talking about the fugly Chinese Furphy in the shop. The one with the wooden bit on the bail looks interesting as well as the pair together.
Hard to tell if that is a Metters you've bought without seeing it,  it looks in good nik though, what did you pay ?
I had a 14" Metters lid up until December when I swapped it for a 10" Albion lid, (don't cry), I'd given up on ever finding a pot for it.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Hi PD I paid $ 40.00 for the pot, shame about you swaping the lid would have made a nice oven, but hope the 10" Albion lid made a set for you. the one with wooden bit on the bail is a 11 inch Aibion and the other is a 12 inch Metters, paid $ 75 for the Aibiom and $ 79 for the Metters   Smiley

G'day Nelson. An 11" Albion  eh ? You've really set my juices flowing. What CI pots you have suggests that there is a bit of good stuff to be had in the west, maybe it's time I did another trip over there. OJ.
Very slim pickings here (NSW) and the prices reflect that. Good pots are few and far between, still the thrill is in the chase and it's a buzz when you find something worthwhile, forget the price !
