A furphy, is Australian slang for a rumour, or an erroneous or improbable story.  You would never get anything but the plain honest dinky-di truth here... I promise!!!!  Yup, hand on my heart, promise, true blue, uh-huh true dinks, dead set!!

G'day Rastas, I've seen a few of these around, usually at swap meets, an early type of pressure cooker and this one looks pretty nice too, check the size, 3 gallons.
If it "blew" I reckon it'd kill half yer suburb. lol

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

I have noticed that two of the three higher bidder's on the Alumask ovens have suspiciously high bidding percentages with the seller...........hhhmmmmmmmmm!!!!

I wonder how far the drongo bidding against them is prepared to go ???

Surely he must know he's bein run up, but then again boys, we may have a NEW RECORD BENCHMARK PRICE SET HERE!!!

Yes it would make the old exploding 9kg LPG bottle pale into insignificance in comparison!!

If you buy it Rastas, please keep well away from Victoria when ya use it!!

A couple of years ago the going price for the Alumask was $55 for the 10" and $65 for the 12"

Saw quite a few on eBay that didn't even sell at all
