Nice pot Soot, looks a bit like a Carron  Smiley Is the handle permanently fixed to the pot?

The reason why I ask, is that I have noticed over the years, that people have varying tastes when comes to CO handles. Some like them fixed permanently, while others prefer them to be removable and others again have no handles at all. Those that do have handles, often just use fencin wire, mild steel rod bent to shape or something similar, while others like to blacksmith decorative handles, particularly for their antique ovens.
