Did a 'roo casserole for over a dozen people including kids on Saturday, it went down well and I noticed several people including my son who doesn't like stews etc coming back for seconds. Also cooked a big damper, it was a very Aussie meal with none left over and no complaints, also had a few bottles of red cordial.
I just used a basic recipe with parsnips, carrots, onions a cup of port etc. Tried out my new 15" Billmans for the first time, great.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

G'day Skip, I called my cooking effort at Thora, "Road Kill 'Roo" and several people wouldn't touch it so now it's " Woolworths Kangaroo Steak Casserole", doesn't have the same ring to it but it's more acceptable to the squeemish.
