Was in the Tmba Tender Centre yesterdayand spotted a very nice Kenrick 6 Pints kettle.Unfortunately the lid was missing.

I tendered $40, missed out as the 3rd highest bidder.
Sold for $46, probably worth that too.
Expect it will pop up in the Sunday Markets with $75 on it.
Bugger!

Just bought a new 6" Lodge on USA eBay.
Luv it, hard to find small ones.
So will now have three Lodge - 14, 12 and 6" will have to fill in the gaps Grin

These things are so easy to make David and the out of date bottles are free anyway.

I saw my first brazier/oven at a market more than a dozen years ago and thought "Gee, I can easily make one of those. " The next time I went to BOC to get my LPG bottles filled I asked the bloke there about getting some old 9 Kg bottles. He said there's a mountain of them out the back, take as many as you want and as I was picking through them I noticed many of them were full so I grabbed half a dozen, I didn't have to buy gas for a couple of years and I made six braziers.
The big natural gas bottles are 14" across and you can carry a 12" oven inside them when you're travelling.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

I agree, the old 100lb (45kg) LPG gas bottle make a great brazier and offer more flexibility than the 9Kg bottles because they can accommodate much larger ovens.

I'll make one up for you David, no trouble at all. Am planning on going to Rocky for the CMCA Rally later this year so I'll drop it of as I go past yer door.
