ALL,

I have mega problems  re. hassles to NEW COMPUTER USERS anywhere, Ebay included.

I've worked in a situation where you ran into lots of them. We encouraged all to come forward.  Many have changed their literacy skills considerably via computers.  I've won  things from computer newbies and had to help them do stuff, when finding the icon for "Live Help" was too confusing. & I've been thanked for it.

& Presentation:  yes KD, if it gets too graphic, other than plain text, I don't believe them and tend not ot bid.

Also  lot of folks are making a fair business expansion to Ebay.  & they know very little about cast iron.  Again what matters to me is the quality of the item.

I may dislike these things, but I always, always, always ask a question.  I then take the correspondence about as seriously as the item itself, ie. is it an impersonal company to whom I matter little.  I've won when spelling was the pits, or just a typo.  I just won from a Canadian couple with feedback over 12,000.  They're real, every buyer matters.  They do their homework. & I have a very nice piece of Canadian ci.  I'd buy from them again, anytime.

My point is cool it, especially with computer skills everywhere.  How did you learn?  Have patience with those yet to gain computer skills and keep that in mind, rather than setting things up so only  the experienced can cope.

Yes, it's a pet peeve  Ebay is only one place.

Cool

Not a camp oven but an interesting cast iron  item:

Large cast iron Frying Pan custom made in Canada.
This item was produced in our family foundry H.Imbleau&Son Ltd located in Renfrew ON. Canada. Our family has owned and operated it for 140 years:

David
Best rate with canada post is 100$ most into us and canada is 25-40$ So about 60$ more

The pan I try for 59+15 for the name but for  chance to sell one in Australia I'll do 150 with a name on it.  cuts 25 off and almost spilts the extra shipping.

I totally understand if its to much and wish I could find a better shipping rate.

thanks for your interest

You can get a Cabelas 20" seasoned skillet delivered to Australia for just under $90.

In this photo you can see Jono's one that we used on Fraser Island.
