Well not eBay, but an internet puchase (similar) from Cabela's.
Got a note from the Kingsthorpe Post Office saying there were two items to pick up.
Dont blame them for not delivering the two items weighed 37.34 pounds.
Yes it was the 20" Cabela's skillet and lid! Like Jonno has.
What a beauty!  Luv it. Should be able to cook a dozen eggs in this at the same time!
Need a decent gas ring from a camping shop now, the biggest they have!
But this skillet could also be used in the Weber kettle I reckon.

Cabela's skillet - see pic.
Very nice.
"Our premium pre-seasoned cast-iron cookware is ready to use right out of the box. Skillets have a teardrop handle on one side, a grip handle on the other and two pour spouts, unless otherwise noted. Dome lids sold seperately."

Got some bad news about the tear drop handle, have another look because I reckon the 20" skillet has two square lift handles and no teardrop.

How would I know, cause I have 3 of 'em & how did I manage to get three, I complained to Cabela's that the skillet never had a teardrop handle & they just kept sending them out at no charge.

Don't bother trying because they are awake to that not but I am surprised they never updated their catalogue!

I would be interested to learn if they have now changed the design and gone with the handle.

Correct!  My 20" is just that, I put in the pic with general reference to Cabela's skillets.

This is the 17" Lodge, the Cabela's 20" is similar, but with domed lid.

Not quite a camp oven, but memories of Thora, this was waiting for me to pick up at the Kingsthorpe Post Office today, new unused still in the original timber box, bought on eBay, had a flurry of bidding session at the end. The original Aussie Bush Kettle, must be 25 years old. I remember these in the shops about 25 year ago and have been kicking myself ever since for not buying one.  Hope I was not bidding against anybody in this place. Also a pic of a well used Aussie Bush Kettle I own.

Bought a 12" oven at the Bendigo Swap Meet last weekend Aart, surprised me as it has both Etna and Falkirk cast into the base, until now I didn't realize they were the same foundry.
It must be old as it has gate marks on lid and base which says it was cast pre 1875 or 1876, cost me the exorbitant sum of $45, oh forgot, about $600 in fuel and other costs to go there and back !

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd
