Count the postage in and that's over $400 for an 11" Harding, even antique shops don't charge like that !

Depends on what you call old David, it's one of the newer Furphy's cast about ten years ago I'd guess.

I messaged the seller thru the eBay system with a question, she phoned Furphy and confirms that it was made at Shepparton.  Still have the message if anybody wants it.
She also said some not nice words to me.......................

Yeah, I didn't say it wasn't a Furphy just that it was a more recent casting, about '99, a different looking lid, I have one and I don't think it is as nice as the earlier ones with the year cast on the lid.
What provoked her to bad mouth you David ?

No, I think at that time ('99) they were still being cast in Oz but maybe not in Shepparton. At some stage someone else was casting them under licence, I think it was Billmans but will stand corrected.

Nope, I don't think you need to be corrected on that.

As I understand it Furphy (who are no longer returning my emails for some reason  Grin Grin Grin Grin ) sent their molds to China in 2000 however for several years prior to that they were getting them made by Billmans.  My 12" Furphy, similar to the one on eBay was made by Billmans.
