Just noticed a Metters oven on eBay advertised as 290mm or 11 ". Looking at the pics it looks very much to me like a 12 in the second photo so I went and measured my 11" Metters, definitely only 275mm across the ears so if you're looking to fill in a hole for an 11" in your collection of Metters pots double check this one..... then again maybe it's a very rare 11 1/2" ?

Interesting PD. Just measured my 9 inch and shes spot on 9 inches or 228 mm
