Kez, I found some more ideas for fillings and pastry and here they are saying they are Greek.

When you think of it they all belong to the pastie, sausage roll, samosa type family Grin

Hey David......I used Copha (which is coconut oil).......It is a vegetable shortening and is used a lot in sweet dishes and the breads were sweet!!! Grin

....I'm gunna try Rastas Cheese Damper next Wink

Rastas's Cheesey Damper is a classic!
Do not cut back on any ingredients, particularly the minced garlic! As getting serious about this recipe I went shopping and found this:
"The Food Company Chopped Garlic" 375gms. This is not minced but chopped, and as a previous life as a Chef I would say that this is the best you can get! Try Woolies.

Sadly, at a wedding I think....

And given the next COG is the weekend before we go on our two month trip, I am unsure if we will be able to go... (until the couple of days before..)

Rastas anything put into any of these pastry/bread etc cases could always be simplified and put into Jaffles Cheesy

.

The surrounds, the wine/beer, the company all seem to make everything so much more enjoyable - especially if someone else has to clean up.
