Yesterday the book Wood-Fired Cooking by Mary Karlin arrived from Amazon.com
I read a review about this book on the Internet.
It is absolutely brilliant!  So just wanting to share with others.
This book covers every method of cooking with a wood fire and includes Weber Kettles, Big Green Egg (at Barbecues Galore) and cast iron.  The chapters include: Wood-Fired Basics; Becoming An Efficient Wood-Fire Cook; Campfire Cooking; Clay Pot And Cast Iron Oven Cooking; Baked on The Hearth etc  with a wonderful collection of recipes. Anybody with a Wood-Fired bread/pizza oven is really going to appreciate this book.
"Mary Karlin is a founding member of Ramekins Sonoma Valley Culinary School, where she has taught wood-fired cooking for nine years.  Mary splits her time between California and Arizona where she directs her Live-Fire Cooking Camp Culnary Centre."
Publisher: Ten Speed Press, Berkley CA
Australian Distributor: Simon and Schuster
