Are you on the road RC ? I'd intended leaving this Saturday and meeting up with Sundryed at Port Macquarie but after hearing about the cyclone hitting Lennox Head today I'm having second thoughts, definitely not camp[ing weather !

I heard about that Tornado not good news it's done some damage.Im not on the road mate so cant help you there. its getting mighty cool here in the SW Slopes I can say that,The rain is sure welcome though.RC

Rusty. Macquarie Woods is good value and we often stay there when going or coming west from Sydney. You're right, it would be a good place for a COG.

There are alot of nice spots around the central Tablelands.another nice place for a COG not far from Macquarie Woods is the Ophir Goldfields Reserve.Toilets,water,plenty of camp ground ect.RC
 
If there's Gold Im going.
