October 31. Camp ovens will fire up in anticipation of the mother of all cook-ups. This event honours the stockmen and women who created the cattle industry in Queensland. The Stockman's Hall of Fame, Longreach. 6pm-10pm; $25. Bookings required. See qtix.com.au or phone 136 246.
