G'day all. Its great to have found this site with so much info. Im a newbie to CO & look forward to learning & cooking with a CO. I purchased my first CO yesterday,its a Lewis & Clark DO 14.

Thanks for the welcome Derek. They had another brand also(spinifex) I think,but the Leiws & Clark looked to be better quality & I also liked that the lid had legs also so that it can be used as a skillet also.

I have had a good look at the Spinifex brand of camp oven and to me they are exceptional looking ovens for the price.  I don't own one at this stage.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I will try to get some pics up by the weekend. This oven comes pre seasoned,I still want to season it myself to get a better finish,will this be ok to do.
