I also post these reports in a South OZ fishing forum strikehook.com and a family forum.

It's easy to copy and paste into various forums.

we had an overnighter back at Swan Reach on the weekend with friends.

only one other camper there for the weekend (a banana-bender)

a cold saturday night, but perfect camping weather again.

...

plenty of carp taking tiger worms, 16 all up. most were fed to the pelicans.

...

Cindy caught a decent one

...

the turtle got himself tangled in the line, easily freed

...

no callop/yella-belly to be caught on this trip, but the scenery made up for it

I succesfully smoked a salmon in the camp oven last week and had to try smoked carp (forgot the spices and only had some curry)

...

not sure why, but the smoking didn't work this time.

the fire pits made camp cooking easier in the breeze

...

my fire-pot comes in handy for placing the campfire in wind cover

...

last photo, the well fed pelicans

we have been back a couple of times since last year.

was wet and wild in Adelaide on the weekend, but 120k's away we only had a few showers.

a link to a few photos from our camp. (too lazy to re-post them here.)

We needed to get back into camping mode as have slackened off a bit due to visiting Port Lincoln visiting our new grandson.

Swan Reach is still a favourite being close to Adelaide and the benefit of a flushing loo.

It was a  free camp, but a $10 fee now. Still a bargain.

Was tempted to have Roast Duck for Dinner  Smiley but opted for a foil parcel of rump steak topped with butter and pkt of french onion soup. easy peasy.

Bloody beautiful, and went over the ferry to buy another pkt to do another parcel for sunday lunch  Smiley Smiley

Pics should tell how peacefull this weekend was (one week before xmas)

try skinning carp, then cooking, let us know what you think, the bigger the better
done with your favorite spices yum
garlic / ginger ,soy, butter, what ever
bigger fish bigger bones easier to get around
#### taste is caused by skin, i love'm Cry
