I thought nothing could excite  me more than the look of BBC's bread rolls....well that was until I saw Astro's high rise mini bread loaves. Wink

Are they the tins you use Astro in the photo?

G'day Brad, I buy potatoes from Woolies because they list on the bag which are suitable for both boiling and baking. The ones I had at Broke were "Red Rascals" which I par-boiled, (about 3/4 cooked) squashed them to about half their original height and topped them with a mix of cheese, cabanosi, grated onion, garlic and some basalmic vinegar but just use your imagination. Then I put them on a trivet and baked them for about half an hour in an oven with both top and bottom heat.
There were a couple left over so I used them to stuff my whole baked pumpkin next day but keep that to yourself.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned..................it's been far too many moons  since my last post Embarrassed.

A hearty G'day to all my old acquaintances & 'welcome' to those that have joined COCIA since I last frequented these hallowed pages !!

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting some new faces at the Broke COG & the opportunity to catch up with some old mates again. Unfortunately, I was only able to attend for a few hours on the Sunday arvo & was disappointed not to have been able to hang around a bit longer - as I feel the night was only just warming up!.

Never-the-less, it was a fantastic evening & I'm sure that everyone who stayed for the duration, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. On Sunday evening, the 'self appointed' Official Broke COG Ambassador (namely - Muzz) invited a retired couple over for a feed & a yarn. Max & Barb, from the Atherton Tablelands, had just been down to Sydney & taken delivery of their new 'Winnebago' style van, & were making their way back home. Great people, who I'm sure had an enjoyable evening also. It'd be great to see them as members.

The pictures say a thousand words & at least the weather was much improved this year - if a tad hot, from a few accounts.

It is my endeavour to 're-prioritise' a few things & see if I can't reacquaint myself with the various goings on of 'the forum', on a bit more regular basis - yes, that means more than one post every 12 months - or more!

Anyway, trust this finds everyone well.

Hooroo for now,

TP Smiley

PS - Muzz, did you set up that avatar???!!!!

Beejay, that BBQ is far to clean, can't be healthy.
