Have a look here LogFire

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Fifth one from the bottom on the right. I downloaded it and all I have to do now is right click on my image and selcet "resize image". It very simple to use.

Cheers

I have found a long process where you email the images to yourself & in the process you can resize images. Change the size here then save the attachments (another problem you can only save one at a time). I'm afraid I don't adapt to change very well, especially computers.

Here is the latest image resizer for Windows 7.  It works the same as the XP one.

http://www.nirmaltv.com/2009/08/26/image-resizer-power-toy-for-windows-7/

You need to go to the bottom of the page for the download link.

Cheers

I simply upload my photos that I want to share into a free Photobucket account and they have an easy "resize" option in their edit menu (you can also crop and do a few other things there).  I then copy the IMG link and post it on my notebook if I have a few and then paste that into the forum.  Other wise I just "copy" go to the forum and then "paste"

I agree with SBB.  IrfanView is one of the most user friendly photoediting packages around.

Download from http://www.irfanview.com/

Derek, anyone else, quite a few of us have problems with MS tools, no matter with what computer.  With IrfanView, you can leave all that stuff behind and learn to do lots more than just resizing.

No Carolyn, you and I see photos very differently.

I have known many who did like IrfanView.

But PhotoBucket, well PhotoBucket has problems too.  Over here of 80% of those who try to post using PB, I can't see them.

The reverse is true for those who have computers physically in Oz.  I can see 80% of those using PB who live in Oz.  But that is still far from right.  & I'm not the only one with this problem too.  There are a lot of other excellent photo hosts with 0 problems.

We have options so that folks can  pick and choose.  Of of the worst assumptions is for anyone to think they have to be stuck with what came with the computer.

Cool
