We had a run out on Sunday visiting Cooby Dam, Perserverence Dam and Cressbrook Dam. Called into the Hampton Information Centre on the way home and found a brochure on this place. Sounds a great place for a COG, we are visiting soon so will give a report back to COCIA.

Hi David and Beryl.

Thank you for your enquiry. We are campfire friendly and I have attached a picture taken this morning of one of our campfire burners and the large camp oven that was used in it last night. We look forward to seeing you both here enjoying this great location. We uploaded some photos from this weekends campers and you can see them at:

Please call our office on 07 4630 5353 to confirm your booking.

Regards
Pete and Lisa Souter

We camped at Murphy's creek years ago. It was quite dry at the time, and off peak season so we virtually had the camp ground to ourselves. And even though it was dry and quiet we had a great time. At the time we drove a Holden Commodore and towed a plain old box trailer. If I recall correctly at the time we wished we had a 4 x 4, but apparently caravans and campers can access the site too, so maybe we were just over loaded.
It is easy to get to and not far from other places of interest.

My life is a performance for which I was never given the chance to rehearse.
