I wanted to make fresh biscuits today for our morning tea, and it being the Anzac Weekend it was appropriate to make Anzac Biscuits and another opportunity to try to cook them in a camp oven.
They came out well, had to make them in batches of eight, two trays on top of each other.
They didn’t take to long about 15 to 20 minutes a batch.

Anzac biscuits

Ingredients
1 cup plain flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
˝ cup coconut
125 g butter
3 tablespoons golden syrup
1 tablespoon water
˝ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Method
Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar, rolled oats and coconut.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the golden syrup and water.
Stir the bicarbonate of soda into the liquid mixture.
Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Place walnut-sized balls of mixture on a greased tray and bake at 175°C for 15-20 minutes.
Biscuits will harden when cool.

WE fella's ALSO have the know how and the excellent taste that nearly all fella's have...I did afternoon tea for a friend and included a really cute flower as well...

BUT unlike you girls and because we live where it is just a tad warmer than 2 degrees most of the year, we serve COLD refreshments for our guests.

Go the blokes - BLOKES RULE...Yeh!!!!

Now just thinking   Undecided (dangerous I know)

An orchard in bloom might make for a crowded tray.
...

Of course one orchid might work.

Your version looks more like a lillium - a nice one, but certainly has the characteristics of a lillium.  Undecided Undecided
