Thought I would have a go at cooking some sausage rolls for lunch today, surprised myself, they turned out great.

Made too many to fit in the camp oven but all a good lesson just the same.

Cheers

Paul

Son, if you really want something in this life, you have to work for it. Now quiet! They're about to announce the lottery numbers.

Hi George,

There was no real science to the ingredients, jus thru a few things in that I thought would taste ok, pretty rough and ready.

Home Brand sausage meat (woolies)
Semi dried tomatoes (chopped)
Splash of Worcestershire Sauce
Handful of bread crumbs
Fresh parsley
Handful of mozzarella cheese
Egg to brush tops
Puff Pastry

A few shakes of each of the following:

Onion flakes
Salt
Cracked black pepper
All purpose seasoning
Garlic Salt

I would say the only downside was that they were probably a bit thick with a little too much meat and maybe next time a little better quality meat, maybe a mix of pork and veal mince, sort of a 50/50 mix, other than that I'll have a crack again.

Cheers

Paul

Yer Soot, that's where the inspiration to make them came from.

Actually, SBB's work table looks a bit like mine, the durries and rum are always never to far away. Smiley

Now, just got to get me one of those special SBB sausage roll making shirts, I bet that is his secret..... Grin

Cheers

Paul
