Try this link Skip. How many do you want? I might have one or two spare.
I sent them a message about combining postage, they don't combine multiple items but they dropped them to just over 6USD @. Not a bad price looking at whats around and I just wanted something simple.

PS Thanks for the offer Pod but it took me a couple of days to do mine....feeding and watering me for that long you'd save money getting it done professionally. Grin

Just the two wires to your straight to your battery as a power supply.
Says they are low power consumption. A little display like this shouldn't draw much.

Michael

how far or how long do you intend to travel with the fridge?

When I use 3 way I just precool on 240 volts for 24 hours and stuff is cold before it goes in.

Have traveled up to 10 hours and had no dramas. Connect to gas and all is good.

Cheers

Steven

Fitted mine today Rod.
As I said to you the lead is very short, only about 50-60mm but I was lucky to be able to mount it close to my solar regulator.
Being a panel-mount, instead of cutting a hole I used a narrow switch mounting block and a blanking cover and cut that instead of my tray and liner.

...

...

Not sure where you are putting yours but hope this helps.

Have finished the dual battery set up on my Triton (with a bit of mucking around). See what you reckon.

All controlled by a smart start relay under the bonnet. Cuts in at 13.7v and cuts out at 12.8v.
...

I think they can be fitted under the bonnet by relocating a lot of stuff, but I went for what I thought was the easy way out and mounted on top of the tow bar in a purpose built battery holder. Battery is a 100Ahr Ritar AGM deep cycle (fridge only, not for cranking).
...

The smart start relay controls three other relays mounted in the rear as well. One 100amp for charging the second
itaste vtr
ecig lighter socket, one 30amp for the smart charger in the van to charge the house battery, and one 30amp for running the van fridge while travelling. A 20amp self resetting circuit breaker straight from the dual battery supplies the engel socket in the tray.
With spare tyre out.
...

The solar panel mounted neatly on the canopy racks with a little persuasion.
...

Tucked in the side of the tray are the solar charge controller, temp gauge, and engel socket.
...

...and all this, just to keep beer cold in the back of the ute 24/7!!

...

I also mentioned the temp gauge. I took a hint from Skip and was able to find a wireless remote temp gauge (cost only $30, pretty good I thought considering you pay $25 for a standard digital temp gauge) which gives a readout in the drivers cab to monitor fridge temp while travelling. The beauty of it is, the transmitter being wireless and in a detachable holder I can put it in the van when I want to monitor the fridge in there.
...

Robbo

Awesome you have shared entire socket details..I am really impressed with the way you have shared all the details with pics..
