The other Weekend Bonnie and I gave my father a 79th  birthday party, it was a surprise for him and even a bigger surprise when me sister arrived from Perth. That was a really good moment when he walked into my shed and saw her.

...

We decided to use one of my sheds for the party as the weather wasn’t flash, raining and cold. We just hoped that it would stop raining on the night, which it did.

I cooked all the main meals in the camp ovens, as well as the vegetables in them as well, that is the reason I am posting the party on the forum.

None of my camp ovens have legs or the couple that do the legs are too short to be useful, so I made stands to sit them on.

We used three 12-inch ovens for the meats and three 10-inch ovens for the vegies.

...

I used the small oven just to make the gravy.

...

While every thing was cooking we had a nice hot fire to stand around and have a few beers.

...

Keeping it all warm while we had another beer or two.

...

Ready to start serving Dinner

Bonnie and my brother cut up the meats, we had pork, beef and lamb.

Pork

...

Lamb

...

Beef

...

I never took any photos of the total dinner, I got sidetracked.
This was my first go of stacking so many ovens but the dinner turned out beautifully.

Just a few photos of the party, we all had a really good night.

Good looking feed there.
Those CO would have done a good job of warming up the shed.

They did keep the back of the shed warm, I had to push my way through just to get back to them.

Thanks everyone, the meal turned out beautifully, better than I could have hoped for so it was well worth it.

Rastas000 I did a bit of working out what times I wanted each oven to be heated for the different meats so they would be ready at the same time, and my timing was about spot on, the same for the vegies, as I had potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato and onions.

The biggest problem was that I only had one heat bead chimney, I tried to buy a second one in Atherton but no one had any, so the one I had was going flat out all day.
