Gday all
i might be dumb /stupid /deranged Tongue Tongue Tongue
but are ebay prices truly what JIs are
           worth Angry
half the fun in finding them & getting them
cheap & hagaling over price or finding them
you can buy new ones [cast] cheaper than they
are getting & are not as good as old ones
           just a simple observation
i could be a ====head or tight ass
but the thrill of the chase is good

I've always reckoned it's the thrill of the chase in collecting , my missus has never had a problem with what I spend on camp ovens but cannot understand anybody buying on ePay where you simply throw more $ at the seller than anybody else, no real excitement in that. It's finding an old pot at a garage sale for $40, cleaning off the gunk and finding a logo like Albion or Carron 10" it's happened to me.
Some of my best ovens came from garage sales, country markets or .... no I'm not telling you my best sources.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

What PD said!!

eBay is too bloody 'spensive and there is only one or two irons I have not got that I would buy from there..

A furphy, is Australian slang for a rumour, or an erroneous or improbable story.  You would never get anything but the plain honest dinky-di truth here... I promise!!!!  Yup, hand on my heart, promise, true blue, uh-huh true dinks, dead set!!
