I have been dissapointed by Cabelas service, I tried to buy one of their 16's and a few bags what with the dollar being in such good shape, after two weeks my account hadn't even been debited. Angry
so I cancelled the order and instead got onto amazon for a rebound buy and got a couple of these.
...

Test ran them tonight and I must say I love 'em already. Smiley Smiley Would recommend without hesitation.
Did a Rib Eye Rack in a 10" on a portable gas burner.
...

...

...

And a tatey bake in a dirty old chinese 12" on the stove top.

...

...

...

The end results with some peas and gravy.

Jack has asked me about postage, Just in case anyone else is thinking of getting one:

http://www.amazon.com/Camp-Chef-Dutch-Propane-Grill/dp/B0020H2ZWC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=...

The domes were USD65.98 (32.99USD each, camp chef charge about 38USD) postage was 18.93USD.
Total was 84.91USD or 89.47AUD.
Considering some places I saw charged 40USD or more, I reckon 45AUD each delivered to the door was pretty good.
Of course if you only get one, your price per unit may be a bit higher.
If you order a few it should get cheaper with the combined postage.
You can track it on its journey too.
One thing I can say is I was sceptical but now am very impressed.

I got the Volcano one free with my Volcano as part of a Valentines Day Deal I think.  I cant say I think much of it.  After reading the posts about some bad batches of heat beads now I am not sure if it was the dome or the beads but the beads completely stopped burning and I just presumed I had restricted oxygen with the dome.  This shouldnt have happened in the Volcano because I have the bottom vent always open to some degree.  Its only $24.95 plus postage.   http://www.volcanogrills.com/virtuemart/volcano-accessories/lid.html

I also have a camp oven mate and I feel thats superior for use when its windy.

They all seem suited to a 12" camp oven but you can get a larger camp oven mate.

I had been looking at those on Amazon too Robbo
Currently for one only they are $50.06 delivered to your door.
The Amazon offer has the diffuser plate included too, not sure if that is always the case when getting the dome.

Quote:
Product Features
Package includes: (1) Dutch Oven Dome, and (1) Heat Diffuser Plate Fits 10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch Dutch ovens
Easy to use on most outdoor cookers
Package does not include Dutch oven or stove
Great for deserts

Product Description
By diverting, trapping, and circulating heat, the Dutch Oven Dome creates a convection oven for your cast iron outdoors. The combination of the included heat diffuser plate and the Dutch Oven Dome provides the most effective heat distribution method for cooking with a Dutch oven. By cooking on a gas stove you can also reduce or eliminate the cost and mess of charcoal.

I haven't seen any other brands but from what I've seen the Camp Chef one comes standard with the diffuser plate.
By the sound of that you're nearly paying the same postage for one as I did for two. If you can get one or two people to kick in with you it should be a bit cheaper, but even still 50 bucks is good to your door considering CC sell them for nearly 40 and you can't get them in Oz.
By the way, (no photos sorry) but I did Astros slow cooked lamb shanks on the stove top last night and they were awesome. LOVE THE DOME!!
In some of the reviews I have read some people even use them with heat beads as a wind break and to concentrate the heat.
